Hang your acrylic
Your sheet comes with everything to hang it. It takes about 15 minutes and a pencil.
In the box
- Your acrylic sheet
- 4 metal standoffs, each a barrel and a cap (silver)
- 4 wall anchors and 4 screws
- A mini level
- A small screwdriver: clear handle, long stem, red ring at the base of the handle
Step by step
- Level and mark. Hold the sheet where you want it and set the mini level on its top edge. Once the bubble sits in the middle, mark the wall through each of the four holes with a pencil.
- Put in the anchors. Press an anchor into each mark and turn it in with the screwdriver until its rim sits flat against the wall.
- Fit the standoff barrels. Put a screw through each barrel and turn it into its anchor with the screwdriver until the barrel is snug against the wall.
- Hang the sheet. Line the sheet's holes up with the barrels and set it on them.
- Cap it. Turn a cap onto each barrel by hand until it's snug. Don't overtighten: acrylic can crack.
Looking after it
Dust it with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For marks, dampen the cloth with a little water. Don't use glass cleaner, ammonia or alcohol: they cloud acrylic.
